The band now consists of Dan Searle on drums, Sam Carter on vocals, Alex Dean on bass, and Adam Christianson and Josh Middleton on guitars. They have been signed to Epitaph Records since 2013. Strongly influenced by bands such as The Dillinger Escape Plan, the sound of their first three albums was coarse, chaotic, and rhythmically complex. In 2011, Architects went in a more melodic post-hardcore direction with ''The Here and Now'', alienating some of their fanbase. The following year, they returned towards their original style with ''Daybreaker (Architects album), Daybreaker'', establishing a balance of melody and technical harshness while introducing more politicised lyrics. With the release of their sixth album ''Lost Forever // Lost Together'' in 2014, the band achieved lasting popularity and critical acclaim. Soon after the release of their seventh album, ...

Adrian Fitipaldes Northlane
Adrian is a form of the Latin given name Adrianus or Hadrianus. Its ultimate origin is most likely via the former river Adria from the Venetic and Illyrian word ''adur'', meaning "sea" or "water". The Adria was until the 8th century BC the main channel of the Po River into the Adriatic Sea but ceased to exist before the 1st century BC. Hecataeus of Miletus (c.550 – c.476 BC) asserted that both the Etruscan harbor city of Adria and the Adriatic Sea had been named after it. Emperor Hadrian's family was named after the city or region of Adria/Hadria, now Atri, in Picenum, which most likely started as an Etruscan or Greek colony of the older harbor city of the same name. Several saints and six popes have borne this name, including the only English pope, Adrian IV, and the only Dutch pope, Adrian VI. As an English name, it has been in use since the Middle Ages, although it did not become common until modern times. Religion * Pope Adrian I (c. 700–795) * Pope Adrian II ( ...

Sputnikmusic
Sputnikmusic is an American music community website offering music criticism and music news alongside features commonly associated with wiki-style websites. The format of the website is unusual in that it includes both professional and amateur content, distinguishing it from professionally written music websites such as ''Pitchfork'' and ''Tiny Mix Tapes'', as well as collecting and presenting a wiki-style metadata database in a manner comparable to Rate Your Music and Discogs. Over time, the site came to be established as a credible source; it is now among the sources that Metacritic uses to compile "Critic Scores" and is used as a news source by other websites. As a general rule, the staff writers tended to focus on new releases; however, any user was welcome to submit a review of any album that has been officially released. All genres of music were covered by the site, with dedicated subsections for metal, punk, indie, rock, hip hop, and pop; an 'Other' section also caters ...

North Lane
''Ruin'' is the second studio album by British metalcore band Architects. It was released on 25 October 2007 through United by Fate, Distort and Century Media Records. The album was produced by John Mitchell, Ben Humphreys and the band themselves. It is the first album to feature vocalist Sam Carter and bassist Alex Dean. Composition Style Stylistically, this album displays a minor change in the band's style, with a more fluid metalcore sound. Clean vocals are implemented again in a few songs, to a larger extent than on ''Nightmares'', although not as prominently as in later releases. The album features a change in guitar tuning, from drop C (which was used on ''Nightmares'') to drop B, for all tracks, except "Low", which features the same tuning as drop B, but with the low B tuned to F# (the bass string on an eight string guitar). ''Ruin'' was the first Architects album to feature new vocalist Sam Carter. His vocal style is quite different to that of previous vocalist Matt J ...
