Northholm Grammar School
Northholm Grammar School is an independent Anglican co-educational primary and secondary day school, located in Arcadia. The school was established in 1983 and is situated on 10 hectares. It currently serves students from Kindergarten to Year 12. In March 2019, Mr Christopher Bradbury was commissioned as the fifth and current Principal of Northholm Grammar School. Education Philosophy Northholm Grammar's flexible academic curriculum is combined with Christian values. The school is non-selective, with a Liberal Arts (liberating the student to be an independent thinker) foundation. Arthur Capell
Arthur Capell (28 March 1902 – 10 August 1986) was an Australian linguist, who made major contributions to the study of Australian languages, Austronesian languages and Papuan languages. Early life Capell was born in Newtown, New South Wales in 1902, the only child of Sarah Ann (née Scott) and her husband, Henry Capell. He attended North Sydney Boys' High School. Career Capell graduated from the Sydney Teachers' College in Modern Languages in 1922 and the University of Sydney in the same year as the University medallist in Classics. He taught in high schools for three years at Canterbury Boys' Intermediate High and Tamworth High School. He was then ordained deacon in 1925 and priest in 1926 in the Church of England in Australia. Hannah Dodd
Hannah Dodd (born 27 April 1992) is an Australian Grade IV equestrian and 1.0 point wheelchair basketball player who represented Australia in equestrian at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, coming 11th and 12th in her events. Switching to wheelchair basketball, she made her debut with the national team at the Osaka Cup in February 2015. In 2008, Dodd was the Australian national Grade IV para-equestrian champion. She was runner-up in 2009, and won the Australian national championships again in 2011, along with the Oceania Championships and the National Titles team events. By 2012, she was the top-ranked Australian competitor in her event and class. After the London Paralympics, Dodd took up wheelchair basketball. Molly Taylor
Molly Anne Taylor (born 6 May 1988 in Sydney) is an Australian rally car driver. She is the 2016 Australian Rally Champion, the first and only woman to win the Australian Rally Championship and the youngest regardless of gender, and the 2021 Extreme E Champion. She was the first female accepted into the Australian Motor Sports Foundation (AMSF) International Rising Star Program and also awarded the New South Wales (NSW) Confederation of Australian Motorsport Young Achiever of the Year Award in 2006. Julia Hargreaves (born 8 April 1986) is an Australian equestrian. She represented Australia at the 2012 Summer Olympics in equestrian jumping. Casey Dunning
Casey Dunning (born 18 June 1980) is an international rugby union player for Canada, who grew up in Australia. He plays at prop and played for English club Pertemps Bees during 2006–07 season. In the 2006–07 season Dunning broke his ankle which resulted with him being side-lined for many months, however he did make a return at the end of the season. Dunning was included along with, at the time, fellow Bees player Brodie Henderson in the list of reserves for Canada's Churchill Cup 07 which was held in England. Matt Dunning
Matt Dunning (born 19 December 1978) is a former Australian rugby union footballer. He played as a prop for the Waratahs and Western Force in Super Rugby, and represented Australia. He coached the Balmain rugby club in Sydney 2013/2014. Early life Dunning was born in Calgary, Canada, but grew up in Sydney, Australia. He was educated at Northholm Grammar School. In 1996, he was selected to represent New South Wales at the Australian Schools Rugby Championships. He went on to play for Australian Schools, U19s and U21s.
