Northern Panthers
The Brisbane Handball Club is a handball club based in the eastern suburbs of Brisbane, Australia. The club is affiliated with Handball Queensland, plays in the Brisbane Handball League, and hosts a league for juniors (children aged 8-15). The club offers handball programs for children and adults across all skill levels. Membership is available for a school term (10 weeks), half a year, full year. The club operates year-round. The senior club is located at Nissan Arena and the junior club is located at Balmoral State High School. Queensland Handball League
The Queensland Handball League is a Brisbane based championship for handball. The Queensland Handball Association was incorporated in 1983 and the competition has been running for most years since then. The winner of this league qualifies for the Australian Handball Club Championship which is a qualifying event for the Oceania Handball Champions Cup. Australian Handball Club Championship
Handball Australia hosts two separate national club championships. The first is a Beach Handball nationals competition and the second is the Australia Handball Club Championships featuring the state champions for Handball. The winner of the Handball Club Championships qualifies to represent Australia in the Oceania Handball Champions Cup. The inaugural winner of the Handball Club Championships competition was New South Wales based Sydney Uni over Victorian based St Kilda HC. The tournament was held at Sydney Olympic Park and featured teams from New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. The inaugural winners of the beach competition for men was won by the East Melbourne Spartans from Victoria. Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. Nissan Arena
The Queensland State Netball Centre, also known commercially as Nissan Arena, is a multi-purpose facility located in the southern Brisbane suburb of Nathan. The centre features a 5,000 seat indoor arena that is the home court of Super Netball team the Queensland Firebirds, as well as National Basketball League club the Brisbane Bullets. It is the administrative headquarters of Netball Queensland and provides training facilities for elite-level and community-based netball clubs in Queensland.
