The Northeastern Huskies men's soccer team represents Northeastern University in NCAA Division I college soccer. The team belongs to the Colonial Athletic Association and plays home games at Parsons Field. The Huskies are currently led by first-year head coach Chris Gbandi. The team has an all-time record 224–281–52 (.444) through the 2013 season. The Huskies have made 2 appearances in the NCAA tournament with a combined record of 2–2, having made the tournament in 2002 and again in 2012. Parsons Field
Parsons Field is a 7,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Brookline, Massachusetts. It is home to the Northeastern University baseball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's rugby as well as the Brookline High School Brookline High School is a four-year public high school in the town of Brookline, Massachusetts. Northeastern Huskies
The Northeastern Huskies are the athletic teams representing Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. They compete in thirteen varsity team sports: men's and women's hockey (in Hockey East); men's baseball, men's and women's basketball, women's field hockey and volleyball, swimming, and men's and women's soccer (in the Colonial Athletic Association), and men's and women's rowing, track and cross-country. The NU mascot is Paws. The school colors are red and black with white trim. The fight song, "All Hail, Northeastern," was composed by Charles A. Pethybridge, Class of 1932. Harrison "Harry" Swartz (born March 19, 1996) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for USL Championship club New Mexico United. Career Swartz is from Needham, Massachusetts. He played soccer at Needham High School, where he was a 2011 Bay State League First Team pick after breaking the school record for most points as a sophomore. In 2012, he was a silver medalist with the United States in the 2012 Pan American Games in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In 2013, he was rated among the top 150 high school seniors by ''College Soccer News''. The America East Conference is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with NCAA Division I founded in 1979, whose members are located in the Northeastern United States. The conference has nine core members including eight public research universities, three of which, the University of Maine, the University of New Hampshire, and the University of Vermont, are the flagship universities of their states.
