Ballyliffin
Ballyliffin () is a small village located at the north-western tip of Inishowen, County Donegal, Ireland. The surrounding landscape includes Pollan Strand, Binion Hill and Crockaughrim hill. History Local history of the area is covered in Charles McGlinchey's publication, ‘The Last of the Name’. It includes accounts of feuds between landlords and tenants, battles and other nuances. Places of interest A small island off Pollan Bay called Glashedy is located roughly one mile off the coast. Stephen Dodd
Stephen Christopher Dodd (born 15 July 1966) is a Welsh professional golfer who after a moderate career, unexpectedly won two events on the European Tour in the 2005 season at the age of 38 and won a third time in 2006. He also won the 2005 WGC-World Cup in partnership with Bradley Dredge. Since turning 50 he has won four times on the European Senior Tour, including the 2021 Senior Open Championship. Pádraig Peter Harrington (born 31 August 1971) is an Irish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour, PGA Tour and the PGA Tour Champions. He has won three major championships: The Open Championship in 2007 and 2008 and the PGA Championship, also in 2008. 1999 European Tour
The 1999 European Tour was the 28th official season of golf tournaments known as the PGA European Tour. The season was made up of 41 tournaments counting towards the Order of Merit, which included the U.S. Open and PGA Championship for the first time; and several non-counting "Approved Special Events". 1999 Challenge Tour
The 1999 Challenge Tour was the 11th season of the Challenge Tour, the official development tour to the European Tour. The tour started as the Satellite Tour with its first Order of Merit rankings in 1989 and was officially renamed as the Challenge Tour at the start of the 1990 season. The Challenge Tour Rankings were won by Spain's Carl Suneson. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 1999 season. Unofficial events The following events were sanctioned by the Challenge Tour, but did not carry official money, wins were still official however. Mikael Lundberg
Lars Mikael Lundberg (born 13 August 1973) is a Swedish professional golfer. He has won three times on the European Tour. Early life and amateur career Lundberg was born in Helsingborg, Sweden. He represented Sweden in the 1994 Eisenhower Trophy. Professional career Lundberg turned professional in 1995. He spent several years on the developmental Challenge Tour, where he was victorious in the 1997 Himmerland Open, and won a place on the main European Tour via a fourth-place finish on the 2000 Challenge Tour Rankings. After two steady seasons on tour, a 137th-place finish on the 2003 Order of Merit cost him his European Tour card and he returned to the Challenge Tour in 2004.
