North Central Missouri College
North Central Missouri College (formerly Trenton Junior College) is a public community college in Trenton, Missouri. Founded in 1925, the campus has grown to include nine buildings used as instruction facilities, library and testing center, a tutoring center, a community center, a student center, a career center, an art gallery, two residence halls, and a technology center. In 2011, NCMC opened the Barton Farm Campus just south of Trenton. The campus includes three classroom buildings: the Lager Laboratory of Plant & Energy Science, the Metcalf Mechanical Resource Center and Kuttler Animal Science building. The farm campus encompasses 138 acres of farm ground given to the College by the Barton family. Rex Barnett
Rex Barnett (born October 22, 1938) is an American politician and former member of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. A Republican, he represented District 4 (Atchison, Nodaway and Worth Counties) in the Missouri House of Representatives for four terms (from 1994 to 2002). During this time, he sat on committees for criminal law, public safety and law enforcement, and appropriations for corrections and public safety. Bethany, Missouri
Bethany is a city in, and the county seat of, Harrison County, Missouri, United States, approximately midway between Kansas City and Des Moines on Interstate 35. The population was 2,915 at the 2020 census. History The settlement of Harrison County began ''circa'' 1838, although the land was not surveyed and opened for entry until 1842. The county is named after Albert C. Harrison, a 19th-century Missouri political figure. Many of the early settlers to the area homesteaded along Sugar Creek and in the Bethany area.
