NC State v Clemson match in 2006 The NC State Wolfpack men's soccer team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. The team is a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. NC State's first men's soccer team was fielded in 1950. The team plays its home games at Dail Soccer Stadium in Raleigh. The Pack is coached by George Kiefer. The Wolfpack had much of their success in the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s, where over the span of 10 seasons, the Pack appeared in eight NCAA Tournaments. During this time, the Wolfpack won, to date, their only ACC Men's Soccer Tournament title, coming in 1990, as well as their only ACC Regular Season title, coming in 1994. George Kiefer
George Kiefer (born c. 1971) is the head men's soccer coach at North Carolina State University, where he has served since 2017. He was the 2005 NSCAA South Region Coach of the Year, and led the South Florida Bulls from 2002 until 2016. He posted a 162-84-47 record as head coach there and won five conference championships. His Bulls reached the Elite Eight twice. He also served as an assistant coach at UConn. Scott Schweitzer (born August 12, 1971 in Rahway, New Jersey) is an American soccer coach and former professional soccer player. He spent two years as the head coach of Carolina RailHawks FC. College soccer Schweitzer was a four-year letter winner at N.C. State University. He was a two-time All-American (second team in 1991 and first team in 1992) and named Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year in 1992. Dario Brose (born January 27, 1970, in New York City) is a retired American soccer player who spent eight seasons in Europe, three in Major League Soccer and one in the USL First Division.
