Norrtulls Sjukhus
''Norrtulls sjukhus'' ("Norrtull hospital") in Vasastan, Stockholm, Sweden was erected 1883–85 as a model orphanage, converted in the 1920s to a children's hospital that in 1951 was relocated to the Caroline Institute and later renamed to Astrid Lindgren Children’s Hospital. Norrtulls sjukhus was then converted into a geriatric hospital, and in the 1990s to a psychiatric clinic. As the buildings in 2004 were deemed inappropriate, they have been sold on the open market. The school Viktor Rydberg Gymnasium is since 2015 located to a part of Norrtulls sjukhus, which Lilla Akademien is as well. Vasastan, Stockholm
Vasastaden, or colloquially Vasastan, (Swedish for "Vasa town") is a 3.00 km2 large city district in central Stockholm, Sweden, being a part of Norrmalm borough. The major parks in Vasastaden are Vasaparken and Observatorielunden near the centre and Vanadislunden and Bellevueparken in the north. Viktor Rydberg Gymnasium
Viktor Rydberg Gymnasium (VRG) is a group of four gymnasium (upper secondary schools) in Stockholm, Sweden named after the famous Swedish author Viktor Rydberg. The four upper secondary schools are VRG Djursholm, VRG Odenplan, VRG Jarlaplan and VRG Sundbyberg, run by the Viktor Rydberg Schools Foundation. The foundation also runs three secondary schools, Viktor Rydbergs samskola Djursholm, Viktor Rydbergs skola Vasastan, and Viktor Rydbergs skola Sundbyberg. Members of its board of directors are currently Louise Ankarcrona, Louise Westerberg, Fredrik Palmstierna, Stefan Persson, Fanny Falkenberg, Nils Andersson, Thomas Hvid and Sofia Bendz. Lilla Akademien is a school founded 1994. The school focuses mostly on developing musical talent in children. It is located in Stockholm, Sweden. History Lilla Akademien, translated as "The Junior Academy", specializes in classical, jazz, and to a degree, folk music.
