Normann Stadler
Normann ("The Norminator") Stadler (born February 25, 1973 in Wertheim am Main, Wertheim) is a retired professional triathlon, triathlete from Germany. He is the winner of the 2004 and 2006 Ironman World Championship, Ironman Triathlon World Championship in Hawaii. Stadler was a member of the Tri Dubai triathlon team until it disbanded at the end of the 2006 triathlon season. Up until 2011, he was a member of the Commerzbank Triathlon Team. Career Stadler ran his first marathon at 11 years old. Later, he became a triathlete and was a member of the German national team in 1988. He won a world duathlon title in 1994. He first competed at the Ironman World Championship in 1999 as an age-group athlete. He took third place in 2000, fourth place in 2001 and 2003, and then he won in 2004. Chris McCormack (triathlete)
Chris McCormack (born 4 April 1973), also known as Macca, is an Australian triathlete. McCormack is a two-time winner of the Ironman World Championship, winning the titles in 2007 and 2010. He is also the winner of the 1997 International Triathlon Union (ITU) World Cup Series, the 1997 Triathlon World Championships, and the 2012 Long Distance World Championships. Early life McCormack's early athletic career began in primary school where he participated in many team sports. He joined the school's soccer and rugby teams. Tri Dubai
Tri-Dubai was the first major professional triathlon team composed of ten athletes both male and female who competed at long distance (Ironman) in the sport. These athletes have made a significant mark on the Ironman circuit over the years, netting many wins around the globe. The athletes have also competed and placed well on the Ironman 70.3 tour and in many Long course Triathlon races. The Ironman World Championship has been held annually in Hawaii since 1978, with an additional race in 1982. It is owned and organized by the World Triathlon Corporation.
