Norman Tozer
Norman Tozer (13 July 1934 – 14 July 2010) was a freelance reporter who appeared on '' Tom Tom'', a children's programme produced by the BBC in Bristol. Among his other roles, he reported for BBC London News and such BBC Radio 4 programmes as ''Woman's Hour'' and ''You and Yours''. Tom Tom (TV Series)
''Tom Tom'' (1965–1970) was a science-themed children's television series on the BBC, from BBC Bristol. Presented initially by Jeremy Carrad and John Earle, and from July 1968 by Norman Tozer. It later featured three female presenters - Janet Kelly (July–December 1968), future BBC TV newsreader Jan Leeming (1970) and Michele Brown (who later married Gyles Brandreth). First broadcast on 12 October 1965, the series replaced an earlier title from the same production team, ''Treasure House'' (13 October 1964 – 21 July 1965) hosted by Carrad together with a robotic hound named 'Serendipity Dog' (a pun on the Terrytoons character Deputy Dawg). Bristol
Bristol () is a city, ceremonial county and unitary authority in England. ''Woman's Hour'' is a radio magazine programme broadcast in the United Kingdom on the BBC Light Programme, BBC Radio 2, and later BBC Radio 4. It has been on the air since 1946. You And Yours
''You and Yours'' is a British radio consumer affairs programme, broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and produced by BBC News. History ''You and Yours'' began broadcasting in October 1970, when its first presenter was Joan York. In the 1980s it briefly ran seven days a week. In April 1998 it was increased from a 25-minute programme to 55 minutes. However, in 2014 the running time was reduced to approximately 40 minutes to make space for Radio 4's World War I drama ''Home Front'' which went out between 12.04 and 12.15. In the months when ''Home Front'' was not broadcast a different programme took its place and ''You and Yours'' continued to begin at 12.15. On 14 October 2008 there was a change of format, with two presenters being replaced by one. The breadth of topics covered was extended to global problems as well as those closer to home.
