Norman Hillier-Fry
William Norman Hillier-Fry, CMG (12 August 1923 – 11 January 2015) was a British diplomat. He died in January 2015 at the age of 91. Educated at Colfe's Grammar School and St Edmund Hall, Oxford St Edmund Hall (sometimes known as The Hall or informally as Teddy Hall) is a constituent college of the University of Oxford. The college claims to be "the oldest surviving academic society to house and educate undergraduates in any university ..., Hillier-Fry was commissioned into the Loyal Regiment in 1942. After the War, he joined HM Foreign Service in 1946. He served as British Ambassador to Afghanistan between 1979 and 1980. Colfe's Grammar School
Colfe's School, previously Colfe's Grammar School is a co-educational independent day school in Lee in the London Borough of Lewisham, in southeast London, England, and one of the oldest schools in London. The school is a member of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference. The official Visitor to the school is Prince Michael of Kent. History Colfe's is one of the oldest schools in London. The parish priest of Lewisham taught the local children from the time of Richard Walker's chantry, founded in 1494, until the dissolution of the monasteries by Henry VIII. Rev. St Edmund Hall (sometimes known as The Hall or informally as Teddy Hall) is a constituent college of the University of Oxford.
