Norman Herbert was an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1960s. Leigh, Greater Manchester
Leigh is a town in the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan, Greater Manchester, England, on low-lying land northwest of Chat Moss. Season summary Hull F.C. won their fifth Championship when they beat Workington Town 20–3 in the play-off final. Oldham had finished the regular season as the league leaders. Workington Town R.L.F.C. is a semi-professional rugby league club playing in Workington in west Cumbria. Their stadium is Derwent Park, which they share with Workington Comets, a speedway team.
