Nordin Mohamed Jadi
Nordin Mohd Jadi (born 12 May 1962 in Muar, Johor, Malaysia) is a former Malaysia track runner and athlete who represented Malaysia in many international and regional events and championships in the 1980s. His favourite athletic events were the 200 metre and 400 metre track events. Achievement in Olympic Games Nordin represented Malaysia in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles and the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. His personal best for the 200m event was 21.4 seconds, made in 1983. For the 400m event it was 46.56 seconds, made in 1987. Nordin Jadi was also the flag bearer for the Malaysia contingent during the march past in the opening ceremony of the Seoul, 1988 Summer Olympic Games. Muar (district)
The Muar District is a district in Johor, Malaysia. Muar is located at the mouth of the Muar River, on the coast of the Straits of Malacca. The Muar District covers , with a population of 233,779 (2010). History The district was formerly divided administratively into Bandar Maharani municipality and Tangkak township. Upon upgrade of Tangkak sub-district to full-fledged Tangkak District (initially Ledang), Bandar Maharani is now administered by Muar Municipal Council (formerly South Muar Town Council, later Muar Town Council) under the Muar District Office, while Tangkak of Ledang is administered by Tangkak Town Council (formerly North Muar Town Council) under the Tangkak (formerly Ledang) District Office. Muar ( Jawi: موار) or Bandar Maharani, is a historical town and the capital of Muar District, Johor, Malaysia. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Malaysia to be visited and explored for its food, coffee and historical prewar buildings. It was recently declared as the royal town of Johor by Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar and is the fourth largest urban area (after Johor Bahru, Batu Pahat and Kluang) in Johor.
