The Nordic Championships often refers to a number of sporting competitions for Nordic countries. For some of the competitions they are the top achievement in a sport or contest for Nordic athletes. The Nordic countries (also known as the Nordics or ''Norden''; literal translation, lit. 'the North') are a geographical and cultural region in Northern Europe and the Atlantic Ocean, North Atlantic.
