Nora Subschinski
Nora Subschinski (born 5 June 1988 in East Berlin, East Germany) is a German diver. She participates in the 3m springboard and 10m platform competitions. She won the bronze medal at the 2007 and 2011 world championships. She won four gold and four silver medals at the LEN European Aquatics Championships, together with her 24 German championships. At the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics, she competed in the women's synchronised 10 m platform with Annett Gamm. In 2004, the team finished in 6th, while in 2008 they finished in 4th. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the women's 3 m springboard and the women's synchronised 10 m platform with Christin Steuer. She finished in 14th in the individual event, and the team finished in 6th in synchronised event. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, she finished in 9th place in the women's 3m springboard competition. Diving is the sport of jumping or falling into water from a platform or springboard, usually while performing acrobatics. Diving is an internationally recognized sport that is part of the Olympic Games. In addition, unstructured and non-competitive diving is a recreational pastime. Annett Gamm
Annett Gamm (born 28 May 1977) is a German platform diver. She is a two-time Olympian (2004 and 2008), a multiple-time German diving champion, and a four-time consecutive gold medalist in the women's synchronized platform at the European Aquatics Championships (2002, 2004, 2006, and 2008). Gamm is also a member of the diving team for Dresdner SC, and is coached and trained by Frank Taubert, who competed in the men's springboard and platform events at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, and at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, representing East Germany. Diving career At age twenty-seven, Gamm made her official debut for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, where she competed in two platform diving events. Tina Punzel (born 1 August 1995) is a German diver. Career Punzel competed at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships. The women's synchronised 3 metre springboard diving competition at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro took place on 7 August at the Maria Lenk Aquatic Center in Barra da Tijuca. Competition format The competition was held in a single stage with each two-person team making five rounds of dives. There were eleven judges scoring each dive made by each team - three judges for each diver; six in total, and five judges for synchronisation. Only the middle score counted for each diver, with the middle three counting for synchronisation. Christin Steuer (born 6 March 1983 in West Berlin, West Germany) is a diver from Germany who won the bronze medal at the 2007 and 2011 World Aquatics Championships competing in the women's 10 meter synchronized platform. She has also won a European bronze medal in this discipline.
