Nora Ahlberg
Nora Louise Ahlberg (born 23 December 1952) is a Norwegian psychologist. She was Professor of Psychology at the University of Oslo and Director of the Psychosocial Centre for Refugees and later Director of the Norwegian Centre for Migration and Minority Health, a government agency that is now part of the Norwegian Institute of Public Health. Career Ahlberg is educated both as a clinical psychologist and a historian of religion with her specialisation in anthropology. She also studied psychiatry and sociology. Moreover, she is educated in arts from Fria Målarskolan (1972–1975) in Helsinki. Ahlberg has been affiliated with several universities in the Nordic countries, including the universities of Oslo (1978-) and Helsinki (1991-). She was professor and director of the Psychosocial Centre for Refugees at the University of Oslo and director of the Norwegian Centre for Migration and Minority Health from 2003 to 2007. Svein Bjerke
Svein Bjerke (born 15 November 1938 in Oslo), is a religious historian and professor emeritus at the University of Oslo, where he was attached to the Department for the History of Religion for thirty years, part of the time as its head. He belonged to the first Norwegian group of anthropology students, but has since worked with archeological excavations (for example as member of The Scandinavian Joint Expedition to Sudanese Nubia in 1965-66), philological text analyses (especially in his thesis on the Egyptian mouth opening ritual) and traditional anthropological field work. His most well-known work is the doctoral dissertation ''Religion and Misfortune'' (UiO 1975; Universitetsforlaget 1981; ) based on fieldwork in North-Western Tanzania. The Norwegian Centre for Violence and Traumatic Stress Studies ( no, Nasjonalt kunnskapssenter om vold og traumatisk stress, NKVTS) is a research institute, research centre in Oslo, Norway, and Norway's national research institution in violence and sexual abuse; disaster management, terrorism, armed conflicts and traumatic stress; and forced migration and Migrant health, refugee health research.
