Noorul Quader
Mohammed Noorul Quader (2 December 1935 – 13 September 1998) was a Bangladeshi freedom fighter, government officer, and entrepreneur. He was the first establishment secretary of the Mujibnagar Government (Probashi Sarkar), the first secretary of Bangladesh, and a pioneer of Bangladesh's export-oriented ready made garment industry. He was also the founding chairman of the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation and the founder of the Desh Group. Early life and education Mohammad Noorul Quader Khan was born in Mymensingh, Bangladesh. His father was Abdul Latif Khan and his mother was Kulsum Begum. He was the youngest of six siblings. In 1950, Mohammad Noorul Quader Khan graduated from Armanitola Government High School. He attended Dhaka College for two years, and after passing the college's intermediate exam Noorul Quader joined the Pakistan Air Force in 1952. Mymensingh ( bn, ময়মনসিংহ) is the capital of Mymensingh Division, Bangladesh. Located on the bank of Brahmaputra River, about north of the national capital Dhaka, it is a major financial center and educational hub of north-central Bangladesh. Dhaka College ( bn, ঢাকা কলেজ also known as DC) is the oldest secular educational institution of Bangladesh located in Dhaka. It offers higher secondary education ( HSC). It has Honours and Masters programs as well which are affiliated to the University of Dhaka. History Dhaka College is one of Bangladesh's most important as well as earliest higher-secondary educational institutions. It was established by James Taylor Wise (civil surgeon at Dhaka) in 1835 as an English Seminary School (present Dhaka Collegiate School). Mr. Wise organized a local Committee of Public Instruction with the help of district magistrate Mr. Grant. Kalidas Karmakar
Kalidas Karmakar (10 January 1946 – 18 October 2019) was a Bangladeshi artist. He specialized in viscosity printing. He was awarded Shilpakala Padak (2016) and the Ekushey Padak (2018) by the Government of Bangladesh for his contribution to fine arts. Early life Karmakar completed a two-year pre-degree course at Institute of Fine Arts at the University of Dhaka. In 1969, he later graduated from Government College of Art & Craft in Kolkata. His first ever-major solo exhibition was held at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Gallery in August 1976. He worked with the English painter Stanley William Hayter.
