Filthy Dukes are a synthpop band from London, England. The band is composed of Olly Dixon (sampling, electronic percussion, electric guitar), Tim Lawton (synthesisers, lead vocalist) and Mark Ralph (bass guitar, backing vocals). Having been active since 2005, the band released their debut single "Tupac Robot Club Rock" on Fiction Records. The track features vocals by Philadelphian rap group Plastic Little. Their debut album, '' Nonsense in the Dark'', was released on Monday 16 March 2009 with the track Messages receiving a lot of airplay. It was later released as a single. Mauro Remiddi
Porcelain Raft or Mauro Remiddi (born 1972 in Rome, Italy) is a composer/song writer/musician. He currently lives in New York City. He is currently best known for his alternative rock project Porcelain Raft. Career In 1997 he composed the music for the short fil'La Matta dei Fiori'which won the prize David di Donatello for best short film. Brandon Curtis
Brandon Curtis is the vocalist, bassist, and keyboardist in the space rock band The Secret Machines. Originally from Norman, Oklahoma, he was friends with members of The Flaming Lips, The Chainsaw Kittens and Tripping Daisy. Brandon and his brother Benjamin moved to Dallas and formed The Secret Machines in the early 2000s with drummer Josh Garza. The trio later moved to New York City, where Benjamin eventually left the band to pursue a career in his previous side project, School of Seven Bells. Career Brandon's atmospheric keyboard style shows signs of influence from 1970s Krautrock bands like Can as well as progressive rock artists such as Pink Floyd, Hawkwind, and Roxy Music. Orlando Weeks
The Maccabees were an English indie rock band, formed in 2004 in London. They released four albums: ''Colour It In'' in 2007, followed by ''Wall of Arms'' in 2009, ''Given to the Wild'' which was released on 9 January 2012 and their last album ''Marks to Prove It'' released on 31 July 2015. Plastic Little is an American rap group consisting of Jayson Musson (PackofRats), Kurt Hunte (No Body's Child), Jon Folmar (Jon Thousand), Si Young Lee (DJ Si Young) and Michael Stern (SQUID). The name "Plastic Little" comes from the Manga and OVA, ''Plastic Little'' simply as, according to Musson, "The way the 2 words go together, I like it". Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; they've worked with other notable artists from the area, including Amanda Blank and Spank Rock. Background Originally consisting of only Musson and Hunte, Plastic Little formed during the summer of 2001.
