Nong Prue Stadium ( th, สนามกีฬาหนองปรือ) or formally Nongprue Municipality Stadium ( th, สนามเทศบาลหนองปรือ) is a stadium in Pattaya, Chonburi, Thailand. The stadium was opened in 1999 and holds a capacity of 5,500 spectators is currently used for football matches and is the home stadium of Pattaya United of the Thai League 1. Pattaya United Football Club ( th, สโมสรฟุตบอลพัทยา ยูไนเต็ด) was a Thai football club based in Pattaya, Chonburi Province. Defunct after the 2018 season, the club was renamed to Samut Prakan City and relocated to Samut Prakan. Pattaya United's first-ever competitive game was against Thailand Division 2 League side Rajpracha in the 2009 Queen's Cup which they won 5–0. For six years the club remained in the TPL, and finished as high as sixth, and fourth in 2010 and 2011 respectively. The Dolphins were relegated to the Yamaha League One in 2014 and promoted to Thai League 1 again in 2016. The Thai League 1 ( th, ไทยลีก 1), often referred to as T1, is the top level of the Thai football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Thai League 2. Seasons run from August to May, with each team playing 30 games (playing all 15 other teams both home and away). It is sponsored by Toyota Motor Thailand and therefore officially known as the Hilux Revo Thai League.
