Nondas Papantoniou
Epameinondas-Savvas "Nondas" Papantoniou (alternate spellings: Epaminondas, Epameinontas, Nontas) (Greek: Επαμεινώνδας-Σάββας "Νώντας" Παπαντωνίου; born 28 April 1990) is a Greek professional basketball player for Iraklis of the Greek A2 Basket League. He is a 1.91 m (6 ft 3 in) tall combo guard. Professional career Papantoniou began his professional career in the 2007–08 season with the Greek League club Maroussi. After two seasons, he moved to AEK Athens. He then moved to Ilysiakos. He joined Peristeri in 2011 and spent two seasons there. He moved to Kolossos in 2013. Papantoniou returned to AEK Athens in 2014. On August 18, 2015, Papantoniou extended his contract with AEK Athens for another two years, but left the team halfway through that contract. FIBA Under-19 World Cup
The FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup (formerly FIBA Under-19 World Championship) is the under-19 men's world basketball championship organised by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). Greek Basket League
The Greek Basket League (GBL), often also referred to as the Greek A1 Basketball League, or Greek Basketball Championship (originally called Panhellenic Basketball Championship), and also known as the Stoiximan Basket League for sponsorship reasons, is the first tier level professional basketball league in Greece. It is run by HEBA ( el, ΕΣΑΚΕ, link=no), under the legal authority of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.). It is the highest-tier level of the Greek league system. The GBL plays under FIBA rules and currently consists of 13 teams, with the lowest-placed team relegated to the A2 Basket League and replaced by the winner of the play-offs of that tier. Combo Guard
A combo guard is a basketball player who combines the attributes of a point guard (1) and shooting guard (2), but does not necessarily fit the standard description of either position. In men's basketball, such guards are usually within the 6' 3" (1.91 m) and 6' 5" (1.96 m) height range. Albert Schweitzer Tournament
The Albert Schweitzer Tournament (AST) is an international basketball competition that is played between national basketball teams of the Under-18 men age category. It takes place every two years in Mannheim, Germany, and is contested between teams from 12 countries.
