Nokia N95
The Nokia N95 is a smartphone produced by Nokia as part of their former Nokia Nseries, Nseries line of multimedia mobile phones. Announced in September 2006, it was released to the market in March 2007. The N95 runs S60 platform, S60 3rd Edition (Feature Pack 1), on Symbian OS v9.2. It has a Mobile phone form factors#Slider, two-way sliding mechanism, which can be used to access either media playback buttons or a numeric keypad. It was first released in silver and later on in black, with limited edition quantities in gold and purple. The launch price of the N95 was around or (/ in 2025 adjusted for inflation). The N95 was a high-end model that was marketed as a "multimedia computer", much like other Nseries devices. Nokia N73
The Nokia N73 is a mobile phone announced by Nokia on 2006 as part of the Nseries and started shipping on 15 July. The N73 succeeded the N70 and packed in numerous multimedia features. It features a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, a front camera, a then-large 2.4-inch display, and stereo speakers, all in a relatively slim and pocketable size and form. It runs on Symbian v9.1 ( S60 3rd Edition). An improved, music-focused version called N73 Music Edition was released in 2007. It became one of the top-selling Nseries devices during 2006 and 2007, and its high popularity helped Nokia's sales of 'multimedia' phones grow 28% year-on-year in Q3 2007 (according to Nokia the other top-selling from the line were the N70 and N95). Numeric Keypad
A numeric keypad, number pad, numpad, or ten key, is the calculator-style group of ten numeric keys accompanied by other keys, usually on the far right side of computer keyboard. Symbian OS
Symbian is a discontinued mobile operating system (OS) and computing platform designed for smartphones. It was originally developed as a proprietary software OS for personal digital assistants in 1998 by the Symbian Ltd. consortium. S60 Platform
The S60 Platform, originally named Series 60 User Interface, is a discontinued software platform and graphical user interface for smartphones that runs on top of the Symbian operating system. It was created by Nokia based on the 'Pearl' interface from Symbian Ltd. S60 was introduced at COMDEX in November 2001 and first shipped with the Nokia 7650 smartphone; the original version was followed by three other major releases. In 2008 after Nokia bought out Symbian Ltd., the Symbian Foundation was formed to consolidate all the assets of different Symbian platforms (S60, UIQ, MOAP), making it open source.
