Noel Kaseke
Noel Kaseke (born 24 December 1980 in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe) is a Zimbabwean football midfielder. He currently plays as a defensive midfielder. Kaseke grew up in Dete and attended secondary school at Marist Brothers Dete. Kaseke started his senior footballing career in the Highlanders FC in 1999. Three years later he moved for the first time to Europe, and joined the KF Erzeni Shijak in Albania. Then he returned to Highlanders FC for six months. He also played in Mohun Bagan AC in India. His next club was Enosis Neon Paralimni where he stayed for three years. In June 2007 he signed a contract with AC Omonia. He plays best as a defensive midfielder but he also plays well as a right back. In May 2012 his contract with AC Omonia end, so Kaseke was free to find his new team. During this five years with AC Omonia Kaseke won 5 titles. Cypriot First Division
The Cypriot First Division ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Α΄ Κατηγορίας) is the top tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Since February 2016, it is sponsored by Cyta and is thus officially known as the Cyta Championship. The league is contested by 14 teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division. LTV Super Cup
The Cypriot Super Cup is a Cypriot football trophy, contested in an annual match between the previous season's Cypriot First Division champions, and the Cypriot Cup winners. The match is contested at the beginning of the football season, and is usually played at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia. The most successful team in the competition are Omonia, who have won the trophy on 17 occasions. The current holders are Apollon Limassol, who defeated Omonia 2–0 in the 2022 match. History The first match was played in 1951, under the name Pakkos Shield (Greek: Ασπίδα Πάκκου). The 2011–12 Cypriot Cup was the 70th edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 28 clubs entered the competition. It began on 30 November 2011 with the first round and concluded on 16 May 2012 with the final which was held at GSP Stadium. AC Omonia, Omonia won their 14th Cypriot Cup trophy after beating AEL Limassol, AEL 1–0 in the final. Format In the 2011–12 Cypriot Cup, participated all the teams of the 2011–12 Cypriot First Division, Cypriot First Division and the 2011–12 Cypriot Second Division, Cypriot Second Division.
