Noel Cuevas
Noel A. Cuevas (born October 2, 1991) is a Puerto Rican former professional baseball outfielder who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Colorado Rockies. Career Los Angeles Dodgers Cuevas was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 21st round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft out of Universidad Interamericana in San Juan, Puerto Rico. After a brief appearance (3 games) with the Arizona League Dodgers in 2010, he began 2011 with the Ogden Raptors of the Pioneer League (baseball), where he hit .285 in 60 games. He also appeared in 23 games with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, but hit just .220 with them. In 2012, he played 23 games in the Arizona League, 13 in the Pioneer League and 50 in the Midwest League with the Great Lakes Loons. Overall, he hit .267. The Great Lakes Loons are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. They are located in Midland, Michigan, and play their home games at Dow Diamond, which opened in April 2007. The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes are a Minor League Baseball team of the California League and the Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. They are located in Rancho Cucamonga, California, and play their home games at LoanMart Field. The franchise was founded in Lodi, California, in 1966 as members of the California League, with its home ballpark as Tony Zupo Field. Juan Ramón Nicasio (born August 31, 1986) is a Dominican former professional baseball pitcher. In Major League Baseball, a player to be named later (PTBNL) is an unnamed player involved in exchange or "trade" of players between teams. The terms of a trade are not finalized until a later date, most often following the conclusion of the season. Postponing a trade's final conditions or terms is often done for several reasons. First, the team receiving the PTBNL might not be certain which position they want to fill, so this type of deal gives them more time to figure it out. Second, this type of arrangement gives the team receiving the PTBNL more time to evaluate the available talent on the other team.
