Nobuyuki Kuroki
is a Japanese game designer working for SNK. He did art for several ''Art of Fighting'' and ''Fatal Fury'' games and took a bigger role in ''The King of Fighters XIV'' and ''Samurai Shodown''. Biography Early life and preferences Nobuyuki Kuroki originally wanted to become a manga artist but felt he was not suitable for the job after going to an art school. Kuroki was a fan of John Wayne, ''Dragonlance'' and ''The Lord of the Rings''. He found the requirement list for SNK on the bulletin board at his school by chance. Upon seeing the company SNK, Kuroki was amazed by the fighting game ''Art of Fighting'' which he considered a masterpiece. This inspired him to work at SNK. Kuroki studied in the same art school as Yasuyuki Oda, Osaka Designers' College. His biggest impression from ''Art of Fighting'' was one of the main characters, Ryo Sakazaki. Art Of Fighting
is a fighting video game trilogy that were released for the Neo Geo platform in the early 1990s. It was the second fighting game franchise created by SNK, following the ''Fatal Fury'' series and is set in the same fictional universe as a prequel to the ''Fatal Fury'' series. The original ''Art of Fighting'' was released in 1992, followed by two sequels: in 1994 and in 1996. Gameplay The ''Art of Fighting'' series follows the conventions of the time in the sense that the player faces a variety of opponents in best two-out-of-three matches. Each of the game's characters have a unique fighting style and set of special techniques. ''Real Bout Fatal Fury'' is a 1995 fighting game released by SNK for the Neo-Geo arcade and home platforms. It is the fifth installment in the ''Fatal Fury'' series, following '' Fatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory''. Ports of ''Real Bout'' were released for the Neo-Geo CD, PlayStation (in Japan and the PAL region) and the Sega Saturn (in Japan, which requires the Extended RAM cartridge for the system). The game was later included in ''Fatal Fury Battle Archives Vol. 2'', a compilation released for the PlayStation 2. Kyo Kusanagi
is a fictional character in SNK's ''The King of Fighters'' series of fighting games. The character was first introduced in the 1994 video game ''The King of Fighters '94'' as the leader of the Japanese team from the series' title tournament. Kyo, heir to the Kusanagi clan, is first introduced as a cocky, delinquent high-school student who has pyrokinetic powers. His clan is one of three who banished the legendary snake demon entity Yamata no Orochi. During the series' story, Kyo meets rivals and enemies who seek to take his flame abilities. Aside from the main series, Kyo appears in several crossovers and spinoffs with other games. Mark Of The Wolves
is a 1999 fighting game produced by SNK, originally for the Neo Geo (system), Neo Geo system and then as ''Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves'' for the Dreamcast. It is the eighth (or ninth if one counts ''Fatal Fury: Wild Ambition'') installment of the ''Fatal Fury'' series. Gameplay The two-plane system in which characters would fight from two different planes was removed from the game. The game introduces the "Tactical Offense Position" (T.O.P.), which is a special area on the life gauge. When the gauge reaches this area, the character enters the T.O.P. mode, granting the player's character the ability to use a T.O.P. attack, gradual life recovery, and increased attack damage.
