Noam Behr ( he, נועם בר; born 13 October 1975) is an Israeli professional tennis player who turned pro in 1994. His career-high singles ranking was No. 127 (October 2001), and his career-high doubles ranking was No. 109 (October 1999). Tennis career Most of Behr's success was on the Challenger and Futures level, but he often participated in qualifying tournaments of major ATP events. Vered Noam is a professor of Talmud at Tel Aviv University. In 2020, she received the Israel Prize for Talmud, the first woman to receive the prize in Talmud studies. Biography Vered Noam was born in Jerusalem in 1960 to Professor Yehuda Elitzur and children's author Rivka Elitzur. In 1985 she earned her BA in Talmud and Archaeology; in 1989 she earned her MA in Talmud; and in 1997 she earned her PhD in Talmud –– all of these degrees having been completed at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Eli M. Noam (born August 22, 1946 in Jerusalem) is a professor of Finance and Economics at the Columbia Business School, and holds the Paul Garrett Chair in Public Policy and Business Responsibility. Noam Nisan ( he, נעם ניסן; born June 20, 1961) is an Israeli computer scientist, a professor of computer science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is known for his research in computational complexity theory and algorithmic game theory. Biography Nisan did his undergraduate studies at the Hebrew University, graduating in 1984. Noam Lanir (born February 18, 1967) is an Israeli entrepreneur and the controlling shareholder and CEO of Livermore Investment Group, formerly known as Empire Online. Biography Noam Lanir spent most of his early years at Hatzor Airbase, where his father, Lt. Col. Avraham Lanir, served as a fighter pilot.
