No Plan B (band)
No Plan B, also known as the Roger Daltrey Band, is an English rock band assembled by The Who singer Roger Daltrey to support performances and tours outside The Who. Daltrey's band includes Simon Townshend (brother of Pete Townshend) on guitar and vocals, Frank Simes on lead guitar, Jon Button on bass, Loren Gold on keyboards and Scott Devours on drums. Frank Simes is also musical director for the band. In a 2010 appearance on ''The Alan Titchmarsh Show'', Daltrey called the band No Plan B. History In 2009 Roger Daltrey embarked on a tour of the U.S. and Canada with a new band assembled in Los Angeles, California. ''Largo'' is an Americana music project and album produced by Rick Chertoff and Rob Hyman and released by Polygram in 1998. It was co-written by them with Eric Bazilian and David Forman. The title is taken from the second movement of Antonín Dvořák's ''New World Symphony'', and the project is considered "loosely inspired" by the symphony. The album has several interpretations of Dvorak's piece, performed by musicians such as The Chieftains and Garth Hudson. Scotiabank Saddledome is a multi-use indoor arena in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Located in Stampede Park in the southeast end of downtown Calgary, the Saddledome was built in 1983 to replace the Stampede Corral as the home of the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League, and to host ice hockey and figure skating at the 1988 Winter Olympics. ''Tommy'' is the fourth studio album by the English rock band The Who, a double album first released on 17 May 1969. The album was mostly composed by guitarist Pete Townshend, and is a rock opera that tells the story of Tommy Walker. Tommy is traumatized from witnessing his father murder his mother's lover. Tommy's parents compound his trauma by denying the experience. In reaction, Tommy becomes dissociative ("deaf, dumb and blind"). Tommy then experiences the trauma of being sexually abused. As a way of coping with his trauma, Tommy dissociates further through playing pinball. He gains a following because of his skill at playing pinball. After numerous misguided attempts to heal Tommy, a doctor prescribes him a mirror so he can confront himself and his experience. Life and career Charlie Siem was born in London, England, to Kristian Siem, a Norwegian businessman, and his South African-born wife.
