''No More Stories Are Told Today, I'm Sorry They Washed Away // No More Stories, The World Is Grey, I'm Tired, Let's Wash Away'', often shortened down to ''No More Stories...'', is the fifth studio album by the Danish band Mew. It was released in Scandinavia on 17 August, the United Kingdom on 24 August, the United States on 25 August, and Japan on 26 August 2009. ''No More Stories...'' is produced by Rich Costey who also produced their breakthrough album ''Frengers'', and is the band's first album as an official three-piece after bass player Johan Wohlert left to spend time with his family, before rejoining the band prior to the release of '' + -''. According to lead vocalist Jonas Bjerre, this album is happier, "dancier", and more upbeat than its predecessor, ''And the Glass Handed Kites'', which had a dark theme of fear. Mew (band)
Mew are a Danish alternative rock band, consisting of Jonas Bjerre (lead vocals), Johan Wohlert (bass) and Silas Utke Graae Jørgensen (drums). Johan Wohlert left the band in 2006 before the birth of his first child, but made a return in 2013 while the band were in the studio, before making his first live appearances since his departure in 2014. Guitarist Bo Madsen left the band in June 2015. This was confirmed in a statement on the band's official website on 1 July of the same year. Whilst their music may be classified as indie and on occasion progressive rock, former guitarist Bo Madsen said "I usually say we are 'indie stadium.' A mix between 'feelings' and 'thinking' is usually good." Johan Wohlert
Johan Haslund Wohlert (born 10 March 1976) is the bass player of Danish indie band Mew. He previously left the band on 11 April 2006, because he did not feel that he could be a rock star and a good father at the same time. He was boyfriend to Pernille Rosendahl, vocalist of the now dissolved band Swan Lee, who is also the mother of his child, Tristan, who was born in May 2006. Johan Wohlert and Pernille Rosendahl formed a new band, The Storm, in 2007 and released their first album ''Where the Storm Meets the Ground'' in February 2008. The album was not well received by the Danish critics or public. Johan went to folkeskole at Bernadotteskolen and is a graduate from Østre Borgerdyd Gymnasium. ''Drowned in Sound'', sometimes abbreviated to ''DiS'', is a UK-based music webzine financed by artist management company Silentway. Founded by editor Sean Adams, the site features reviews, news, interviews, and discussion forums. Anders Trentemøller (; born 16 October 1972) is a Danish indie/electronic music composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Copenhagen, Denmark. History Trentemøller started music in the late 1990s with different indie rock projects. In 2006, following a line of more electronic-orientated 12-inch EPs, Trentemøller released his debut album, '' The Last Resort''. In 2007 he assembled his first full live band, with Henrik Vibskov on drums and Mikael Simpson on guitar. Swirlies is an American indie rock band formed in Boston in 1990. Since their first records in the early 1990s, the band has released studio and home recordings that blend shoegaze and twee pop with electronica and lo-fi music.
