Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers is an American rock band from Tempe, Arizona. History Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers formed after a lineup shift of The Refreshments, a rock band active in the 1990s known for their top radio hit, " Banditos," as well as the theme song for the hit cartoon show, "King of the Hill" After two of The Refreshments members left, members Roger Clyne and drummer Paul "P.H." Naffah continued to produce music and changed the moniker to Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers. Clyne and Naffah were originally joined by former Gin Blossoms member Scott Johnson, who left to rejoin his former band in 2002. James Swafford and Daryl Icard also appeared in the new lineup, but were unable to stay. Steve Larson, former guitarist for Dead Hot Workshop, also joined the band. Clif Norrell is an American record producer, recording engineer, music mixer, and musician. He has worked with many prominent artists including Bruce Springsteen, R.E.M., Jeff Buckley, No Doubt, Rush, Faith No More, Shania Twain, Mick Jagger, Dave Grohl, Sting, Paul McCartney, Gavin Degraw, Joss Stone, Selena Gomez and The Police. Roger Meade Clyne (born January 13, 1968) is the lead singer, primary songwriter, and rhythm guitar player for the American rock band Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers. His previous bands include The Refreshments and the Mortals. Clyne and the Peacemakers (also known as RCPM) released their eighth full-length studio album, "Native Heart", on June 30, 2017. His musical career has spanned three decades, including several hits with The Refreshments and penning the theme song for the animated television series ''King of the Hill''. He wrote and recorded the victory song for his hometown Major League Baseball club, the Arizona Diamondbacks, entitled ''The D-Backs Swing''.
