''No Idols'' is a collaborative mixtape by rapper Domo Genesis and record producer The Alchemist. It was released on August 1, 2012, by Odd Future Records. The mixtape was entirely produced by Alchemist and features guest appearances from Earl Sweatshirt, Vince Staples, Action Bronson, Smoke DZA, Freddie Gibbs, Prodigy, SpaceGhostPurrp and Tyler, The Creator. Release and promotion The lead single "Elimination Chamber" featuring Earl Sweatshirt, Vince Staples, and Action Bronson was released on July 16, 2012. The limited vinyl edition of the mixtape was released on October 1, 2013. Dominique Marquis Cole (born March 9, 1991), known professionally as Domo Genesis, is an American rapper and songwriter. He is best known for being a member of Los Angeles hip hop collective Odd Future. He has since continued his solo career, releasing his debut album ''Genesis'' in 2016 and founding his own record label in 2018. Career 2009–2010: ''Rolling Papers'' Domo Genesis joined Odd Future in mid-2009 because he was very good friends with Tyler, the Creator. Ariyan Arslani (born December 2, 1983), professionally known as Action Bronson, is an American rapper, songwriter, chef, wrestler, exotic olive oil taster, and television presenter. Born and raised in Queens, New York, he embarked on his musical career in January 2011, with the mixtape ''Bon Appetit ..... Bitch''. He independently released his debut album ''Dr. Lecter'', in March 2011. In August 2012, Action signed his first major-label deal with Warner Bros. Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, better known as Odd Future and often abbreviated as OF, was an American Hip hop music, hip-hop Musical collective, music collective formed in Los Angeles County, California in 2007. The original members were Tyler, the Creator, Casey Veggies, Hodgy, Left Brain, Matt Martians, Jasper Dolphin, Travis "Taco" Bennett and Syd (singer), Syd. Tyler Gregory Okonma (born March 6, 1991), known professionally as Tyler, the Creator, is an American rapper and record producer. He is one of the founding members of the music collective Odd Future. Okonma self-released his debut mixtape Bastard (Tyler, the Creator mixtape), ''Bastard'' in 2009 and rapidly gained attention among the online music press for his horrorcore-influenced sound and violent, transgressive art, transgressive lyrical content. Markese Money Rolle (born April 1, 1991), known professionally as SpaceGhostPurrp, is an American rapper and record producer from Miami, Florida. He was the founder of the American hip hop group Raider Klan and Black Money Boys. Fredrick Jamel Tipton (born June 14, 1982), better known by his stage name Freddie Gibbs, is an American rapper from Gary, Indiana. After initially being signed to Interscope Records in 2006, Gibbs recorded his debut studio album under the label. However, he was eventually dropped and the album was cancelled. Sean Pompey (born February 8, 1984), better known by his stage name Smoke DZA, is an American rapper and songwriter. Thebe Neruda Kgositsile (born February 24, 1994), also known by his stage name Earl Sweatshirt, is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer. Kgositsile was originally known by the moniker Sly Tendencies when he began rapping in 2008, but soon changed his name when Tyler, the Creator invited him to join his alternative hip hop collective Odd Future in late 2009.
