''No Fuel Left for the Pilgrims'' is the third (and first international) studio album by Danish rock band D-A-D. The album was released on 3 March 1989 in Denmark by Medley Records and worldwide on 8 September 1989 by Warner Bros. The band was still called Disneyland After Dark on the original Danish release but changed their name to D-A-D for the international release to avoid a lawsuit from The Walt Disney Company. For the international version tracks 1, 3, 4 & 7 were remixed by Chris Lord-Alge at Image Recording in Los Angeles. It was the band's most popular release, largely due to the inclusion of the minor hits "Rim of Hell" and "Sleeping My Day Away". The album reached #116 on the US ''Billboard'' 200 chart, while the album's first single "Sleeping My Day Away" reached #23 on ''Billboards Album Rock Tracks chart and #87 on the UK Singles Chart. D-A-D
D-A-D is a Danish rock band. They were originally named Disneyland After Dark, but changed their name to avoid a lawsuit from The Walt Disney Company. History In the early 1980s in Copenhagen, D-A-D started playing together under their original name ''Disneyland After Dark''. Pedersen came up with the name based on the idea that when the lights are out in Disneyland, anything can happen. The first lineup of D-A-D consisted of Jesper, Stig, Peter and Stig's girlfriend, Lene Glumer. The band's debut concert was at the youth club Sundby Algaard. In December 1982, Lene Glumer left the band and the three of them kept playing together and on 3 March. 1984 Jesper's younger brother, Jacob, joined the band at a concert at Musikcaféen in Copenhagen. The band released their first album, '' Call of the Wild'' in 1986. Chris Lord-Alge
Chris Lord-Alge is an American mix engineer. He is the brother of both Tom Lord-Alge and Jeff Lord-Alge, both of whom are also audio engineers. Chris and Tom are known for their abundant use of dynamic compression for molding mixes that play well on small speakers and FM radio. Lord-Alge frequently collaborates with Howard Benson, who has produced the plurality of his mix discography. Career Lord-Alge worked at Unique Recording Studios in New York City in the 1980s. Sverigetopplistan (, lit. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and known by its current name since October 2007, based on sales data from the Swedish Recording Industry Association (in Swedish Grammofonleverantörernas förening). Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list. History For the period of 1976 to 2006, the official Swedish music charts were published by Sveriges Radio P3, a station owned by Sveriges Radio.
