No Filter (film)
''No Filter'' ( es, Sin filtro) is a 2016 Chilean comedy film directed by Nicolás López. Plot Pia Vargas is a 37-year-old advertising agent, who struggles to deal with her starving artist boyfriend, his irresponsible son, a non-stop house party next door, and her boss who hires 20-year-old social media savvy but inexperienced girl to work as her supervisor. When she visits a Chinese acupuncturist, the doctor convinces her that the stress in her life is due to suppressed rage, and the only cure is to let it all out, regardless of the consequences. Nicolás López (director)
Nicolás Javier López Fernández (born March 16, 1983) is a Chilean film director, producer and screenwriter. He is known for comedies such as ''Promedio Rojo'' (2004), the ''Qué pena'' trilogy (2010-2012), and the Paz Bascuñán vehicles '' Sin filtro'' (2016) and ''No estoy loca'' (2018). In June 2018, a few months after López begun working on a film project about the MeToo movement, the magazine ''Sábado'' of ''El Mercurio'' published a report where various actresses made claims of sexual and workplace abuses against him. In an ensuing trial, López was in 2022 found guilty of two sexual abuse charges and sentenced to five years and one day in prison. Life and work López became interested in filmmaking at a young age. María Paz Bascuñán Aylwin (, 2 June 1975), commonly known as Paz Bascuñán, is a Chilean theatre, film and television actress. Daughter of politician Mariana Aylwin and granddaughter of Chile's former president Patricio Aylwin, and has more than two descents, her Basque descent being recognized in 2002. María Ignacia Allamand Lyon (born August 29, 1981) is a Chilean film and television actress. Personal life Allamand was born in Santiago, Chile. She is the daughter of the former Chilean defense minister and presidential candidate Andrés Allamand Zavala. Her mother is Bárbara Lyon, best known for her work with "Fundación Alter Ego".
