No Activity (U
''No Activity'' is an Australian comedy television series which streams on Stan, about two detectives on a stakeout. The show was the first commission for the Australian streaming service. It comes from the production company Jungle Entertainment, a partnership between Trent O'Donnell, Jason Burrows, Chloe Rickard and Phil Lloyd. It is written and directed by Trent O'Donnell with Executive Producer Jason Burrows and Producer Chloe Rickard. The first season, consisting of six episodes, premiered in its entirety on 22 October 2015. The second season was released on 26 October 2016. A one-off Christmas special titled ''No Activity: The Night Before Christmas'' was commissioned and premiered on Stan in December 2018. Trent O'Donnell (born 12 February 1976) is an Australian director, producer and screenwriter. Life and career O'Donnell is a television director and co-owner of the production company Jungle (company), Jungle. He wrote and directed the award-winning comedy series ''Review with Myles Barlow'' – an Australian television satire, satirical comedy series broadcast on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) television station ABC1. It has won several Australian Film Institute Awards, AFI Awards for Best Comedy. Funny or Die is a comedy video website and film/television production company owned by Henry R. Muñoz III that was founded by Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Mark Kvamme, and Chris Henchy in 2007. The 58th Annual TV Week Logie Awards were held on Sunday 8 May 2016 at the Crown Palladium in Melbourne, and broadcast live on the Nine Network. Public voting for the Best Award categories began on 16 November 2015, and ended on 17 January 2016. Nominations were announced on 3 April 2016, along with the winners of the Outstanding Newcomer Awards. It was announced on 4 November 2015, that the 2016 Logie Awards would reinstate the Logie Award for Best Factual Program, as well as a new publicly voted category for Best News Panel or a Current Affairs Program.
