No. 7 Line (Baltimore Streetcar)
CityLink Red (abbreviated "RD") is a citylink bus route operated by the Maryland Transit Administration in Baltimore and its suburbs. The line currently runs from the University of Maryland at Baltimore, University of Maryland Transit Center to the Lutherville Light Rail Stop along the corridors of Maryland Route 45, York Road and Greenmount Avenue, and is one of the most heavily used MTA bus lines. The Maryland Transit Administration provides the primary public bus service for the Baltimore metropolitan area and commuter bus service in other parts of the state of Maryland. There are currently 76 bus routes, which include 45 LocalLink routes, 12 High Frequency CityLink Routes routes, 8 express bus routes (which operate from various suburbs to downtown Baltimore), 19 commuter bus routes, and 5 Intercounty Connector or "ICC" routes (which operate from various locations mainly in central Maryland to Washington D.C. or various Metrorail stations). The local and commuter bus routes operate in conjunction with one subway line, three light rail lines, MARC train service, and various connections to other transit agencies. Route 12 (MTA Maryland)
Route 52 is a bus route operated by the Maryland Transit Administration in Baltimore and its suburbs. The line is a dedicated service for employees of Stella Maris, a complex of long term care facilities in Timonium, Maryland. Route 52 replaced Route 12 under BaltimoreLink. History Route 52 was formed in 2005 as Route 12 as replacement for the Stella Maris branch of Route 8, which was discontinued as a part of the Greater Baltimore Bus Initiative. The branch, along with all other special branches of Route 8, were proposed for total elimination with no replacement under the original GBBI plans. But due to public outcry, service to Stella Maris was retained by MTA on the new Route 12 that operated back then out of the Lutherville Light Rail Stop at the same times these trips were previously provided on the Route 8. MTA continued to serve Stella Maris on the basis that the organization is non-profit, while all other discontinued former branches of Route 8 served for-profit employe ... Route 40 (MTA Maryland)
Quickbus 40 was a limited stop bus route operated by the Maryland Transit Administration in Baltimore and its suburbs. The line was discontinued in June 2017 as part of the BaltimoreLink system rebranding along with the other "Quickbus" limited-stop routes. In April 2022, the MTA announced a proposal to revive the route before the end of the same year as the QuickLink 40. The line ran from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in Woodlawn to Middle River, both in Baltimore County, Maryland (on opposite sides) with selected trips terminating at Downtown Baltimore City Hall, passing through the west and east sides and the downtown area of Baltimore City. Service operates every 12 minutes during rush hour, and every 15 minutes at most other times during its hours of operation.
