Nirnayam (1995 Film)
''Nirnayam'' () is a 1995 Indian Malayalam-language crime thriller film directed by Sangeeth Sivan, produced by Suresh Balaje, and written by Cheriyan Kalpakavadi. The film stars Mohanlal and Heera Rajagopal. The plot follows a doctor who has been falsely accused for his wife's murder escapes from the custody to discover the truth behind the incident and the actual perpetrators. The film's music was composed by R. Anandh. The plot is heavily based on the American film '' The Fugitive'', which itself is based on the 1963 TV Series of the same name. Plot Dr. Roy is an honest surgeon who works in a private hospital. He falls in love with his apprentice Dr. Annie and marries her. Sangeeth Sivan
Sangeeth Sivan is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Malayalam and Hindi film industries. He is probably best known for directing the 1992 Malayalam film '' Yodha''. Sangeeth Sivan is the eldest son of filmmaker Sivan. His brothers Santosh Sivan and Sanjeev Sivan also work in the industry. He started his career when Basu Bhattacharya brought him on board as the executive producer of his son's directorial debut ''Raakh'', starring Aamir Khan and Pankaj Kapur. Devan Sreenivasan (born January 8, 1952), is an Indian film and television actor, producer, and politician from Kerala.
