''Niram Maaratha Pookkal'' () is an Indian Tamil-language soap opera, starring Mohammed Azeem with Deepa Jayan and Nishma. It started on Zee Tamil on 9 October 2017 on Monday to Friday at 14:00 (IST). From Monday 12 August 2019, the show was moved to Monday to Friday at 1:30pm (IST). It ended on 21 February 2020 after 593 episodes. The show was produced by the actress Neelima Rani with her husband Esai Vanan under Esai Pictures. It examines a love triangle. Synopsis It is a story about a village girl Venmathi, who is in love with her teenage crush Ram, who is in a far away city and is in love with city-based fashionable girl, Keerthy. Circumstances forces the hero to marry the heroine. The struggle of the heroine to safeguard from revealing herself to the hero and the hero's struggle, between the two women forms the crux of the story. ''Niram Maratha Pookal'' () is a 1979 Indian Tamil-language film directed and co-written by Bharathiraja. It stars Sudhakar, Raadhika, Vijayan and Rati. The film was released on 31 August 1979. Plot Sudhakar is a poor man desperately looking for work. One day he has a skirmish with Radhika, a rich woman and only daughter of a businessman Selladurai, in a telephone booth. Radhika finds out that Sudhakar is searching for a job from his diary that he leaves at the booth. She employs him in her father's firm as a manager and soon they mutually fall in love. Radhika's class-conscious father initially opposes but later reluctantly agrees to have them married. However things take a turn when his business friend Sivaraman, to whom he owes a lot of favours, visits him and reminds him of his old promise to get Radhika married to Sivaraman's son Vijayan. Nagar Kovil
Nagar Kovil, alternatively spelled as Nagarcoil ( ta, நாகர்கோயில்), is a small town in Jaffna District, Sri Lanka. Its name translates to "Temple of Nagas" in Tamil.
