Nihon Ken Hozonkai
The , commonly abbreviated to Nippo, is a preserver and maintainer of the registries for the six native Japanese dog breeds: the Akita Inu, Hokkaido, Kai Ken, Kishu, Shikoku, and Shiba Inu. Nippo also issues the Nippo Standard, which serves as a breed standard for the six native breeds. History Nippo was founded in 1928 by Dr. Hirokichi Saito, who served as the group's first president, and formally named in 1932. With the support of Nippo, the Akita Inu was designated as a national monument in 1931, and the Shiba Inu in 1936. Nippo was formally recognized by the Japanese government in 1937. Nippo's first national show was held in Tokyo on November 6, 1932. The group celebrated its 60th anniversary in 1988, and in 1992 had roughly 16,000 members with annual registrations of 60,000 dogs. Indo National Limited is a company that manufactures batteries in India. The corporate office is in the South-Indian city of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.The company spans 33 offices through the country. Nippo batteries reach millions of homes through 35 distributors, over 2800 stockists, 900 vans and 500 autos covering over 5 lakh (500,000) retail outlets. Nippo is the second largest dry cell battery manufacturer in India, with 28% of the market in 2006. They even started exporting batteries from year 1976 and the first consignment exported to Yemen. Production Nippo has two main production facilities for its batteries, Nellore and Tada both in Andhra Pradesh. Achievements Nippo has received many awards. The or ''Vocabulario da Lingoa de Iapam'' (''Vocabulário da Língua do Japão'' in modern Portuguese; "Vocabulary of the Language of Japan" in English) is a Japanese to Portuguese dictionary compiled by Jesuit missionaries and published in Nagasaki, Japan, in 1603. Containing entries for 32,293 Japanese words with explanations in Portuguese, it was the first dictionary of Japanese to a European language. The original publication uses the Latin alphabet exclusively, without Japanese characters. Only four copies of the original 1603 edition exist. Facsimile editions were published in Japan in 1960 by Iwanami Shoten and again in 1973 and 1975 by Benseisha. The Benseisha reproduction is generally considered the clearer and more legible. The is a railway line in Kyushu, in southern Japan, operated by Kyushu Railway Company (JR Kyushu). The line connects Kokura Station in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, and Kagoshima Station in Kagoshima via the east coast of Kyushu, passing through the prefectural capitals of Ōita and Miyazaki.
