Nini River
The Nini is a river in south-western Ghana. It is one of the rivers for which the Nini-Suhien National Park (now incorporated into the Ankasa Conservation Area) was named. Nini Roll Anker
Nini Roll Anker (3 May 1873 – 20 May 1942) was a Norwegian novelist and playwright. Her books often concerned the lives of women within different social classes as well as the women's rights movement and the rights of the working class. Personal life Nicoline Magdalene Roll was born at Molde in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. She was the daughter of stipendiary magistrate and later member of parliament and minister Ferdinand Nicolai Roll. The family moved to Kristiania (now Oslo) and for a period of time resided in Stockholm while her father served as the Minister of Justice and Supreme Court Attorney. She was married twice, first in 1892 to land owner Peter Martin Anker (1863–1939), a son of politician Nils Anker. After a divorce in 1907, she married his cousin, engineer and sailor Johan August Anker in 1910. The couple settled at Lillehaugen in Asker. Nini Arlette Theilade (15 June 1915 – 13 February 2018) was a Danish ballet dancer, choreographer and teacher. Early life Theilade was born in Purwokerto, Dutch East Indies. Her mother, Joanna Catarina, was of Polish, German, and French extraction, while her father, Hans Theilade, was an engineer. In 1926, on the family's return to Denmark, she attended Asta Mollerup's ballet school in Copenhagen. After she was refused entry to the Royal Ballet's school when she was 12, her mother took her to Paris, hoping the best teachers of the time would ensure her development. Raffaele Celeste "Nini" Rosso (19 September 1926 – 5 October 1994) was an Italian jazz trumpeter and composer. Biography Born in San Michele Mondovì, Italy, Rosso's parents had attempted to send him to university, but at 19 he chose the trumpet over academia, and left home. He was a partisan during the Liberation of Nazist and Fascist World War II and operated in Valle Maira, with Giorgio Bocca, and Detto Dalmastro, partisan commander of anti-fascist brigade Giustizia e Libertà to Partito d'Azione of north Italy.
