Nine Lashes
Nine Lashes is an American Christian rock band from Birmingham, Alabama formed in 2006. They independently released their first album, '' Escape'', in 2009 before Trevor McNevan of Thousand Foot Krutch brought them to the attention of Tooth & Nail Records. Upon signing to the label, the band recorded their second album ''World We View'' and released it on February 14, 2012. The album sold well, making several ''Billboard'' charts. The band released their third album, '' From Water to War'' on January 21, 2014. After a change in direction, the band released their fourth album, the electronica and Christian rock styled '' Ascend'' on March 11, 2016. ''World We View'' is the second studio album by the American Christian rock band Nine Lashes, released on February 14, 2012, through Tooth & Nail Records. It is the follow-up to their independent debut album ''Escape'' and was co-produced by Aaron Sprinkle and Trevor McNevan, the latter of whom was instrumental in getting the group signed and contributes guest vocals to the song "Adrenaline". Upon release, ''World We View'' entered ''Billboards Top Heatseekers chart at number 5 and received much critical acclaim for its diverse sound. Lead single "Anthem of the Lonely" also saw much success, peaking at number one on SoundScan's Christian Rock charts. ''Ascend'' is the fourth studio album from Nine Lashes and was released through BEC Recordings on March 11, 2016. Critical reception Matt Conner, rating the album three stars at ''CCM Magazine'', writes, "another solid release from Nine Lashes." Awarding the album four and a half stars at New Release Today, Jonathan J. Francesco states, "Ascend is a terrific album on its own merit, with energetic hooks and truly great songs." Brandon Ebel
Brandon Ebel is the founder, president and CEO of Tooth & Nail Records. He founded the label in 1993 in California, United States. The label has since grown to include sub-labels BEC Recordings, Solid State Records and Uprok Records. Ebel has contributed to hundreds of releases the label has put out. Ruptured Appendix
Appendicitis is inflammation of the appendix. Symptoms commonly include right lower abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and decreased appetite. However, approximately 40% of people do not have these typical symptoms. Severe complications of a ruptured appendix include widespread, painful inflammation of the inner lining of the abdominal wall and sepsis. Appendicitis is caused by a blockage of the hollow portion of the appendix. This is most commonly due to a calcified "stone" made of feces. Inflamed lymphoid tissue from a viral infection, parasites, gallstone, or tumors may also cause the blockage. Gardendale, Alabama
Gardendale is a city in Jefferson County, Alabama, United States and a northern suburb of Birmingham. The population was 16,044 at the 2020 census. History A large farm settlement near the area today known as Gardendale was settled around 1825. Some years later, other settlers began to move into the community commonly known as Jugtown, a name given to the area based on the presence of a large jug and churn factory that operated in the area.
