Nina Anatolievna Zyuskova (russian: Нина Анатольевна Зюськова, uk, Ніна Анатоліївна Зюськова; born May 3, 1952, in Kalchyk, Donetsk, Russia) is a Soviet athlete who competed mainly in the 400 metres. She competed for the USSR in the 1980 Summer Olympics held in Moscow where she won the gold medal with her teammates Tatyana Prorochenko, Tatyana Goyshchik and Irina Nazarova in the women's 4×400 metres event. Merited Master Of Sports Of The USSR
Unified Sports Classification System of the USSR (russian: Единая Всесоюзная спортивная классификация) is a document which provided general Soviet physical education system requirements for both athletes and coaches. Similar systems still exist today in several former Soviet republics. Athletes The classification was established in 1935 and was based on separate classifications, which existed for several sports disciplines before. Starting in 1949, it was revised every four years, the period, which corresponded to the Olympic cycle, to reflect new standards for the physical training. The document contained test standards, principles and conditions, necessary for the conferment of sports ranks and titles, for all sports, cultivated in the USSR. Tatyana Prorochenko
Tatyana Prorochenko (russian: Татьяна Пророченко, uk, Тетяна Пророченко) (March 15, 1952 in Berdyansk, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union – March 11, 2020) was a Soviet athlete who competed mainly in the 400 metres. Prorochenko trained at VSS Kolos in Zaporizhia. She competed for the USSR in the 1976 Summer Olympics held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in the 4 x 100 metres where she won a bronze medal with her teammates Lyudmila Maslakova, Vera Anisimova and Nadezhda Besfamilnaya. She returned to the 1980 Summer Olympics held in Moscow, this time moving up to the 4 x 400 metres, where she won the gold medal with her teammates Tatyana Goyshchik, Nina Zyuskova and Irina Nazarova. After finishing her career Prorochenko worked for the Ukrainian Athletic Federation and in the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine. The Order of the Badge of Honour (russian: орден «Знак Почёта», orden "Znak Pochyota") was a civilian award of the Soviet Union. It was established on 25 November 1935, and was conferred on citizens of the USSR for outstanding achievements in production, scientific research and social, cultural and other forms of social activity; for promotion of economic, scientific, technological, cultural and other ties between the USSR and other countries; and also for significant contribution to basic and applied research.
