Nina Siarheyeuna Savina ( be, Ніна Сяргееўна Савіна; born 21 July 1993) is a Belarusian long-distance runner. Career She competed in the girls' 3000 metres event at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics held in Singapore. The following year, she competed in the junior women's race at the 2011 IAAF World Cross Country Championships held in Punta Umbría, Spain. She finished in 72nd place. A few years later, she competed in both the women's 5000 metres and women's 10,000 metres events at the 2015 European Athletics U23 Championships held in Tallinn, Estonia. In 2016, she competed in the women's half marathon at the European Athletics Championships held in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In 2018, she competed in the women's half marathon at the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships held in Valencia, Spain. She finished in 42nd place. Babruysk, Babrujsk or Bobruisk ( be, Бабруйск , Łacinka: , rus, Бобруйск, Bobrujsk, bɐˈbruɪ̯s̪k, yi, באָברויסק ) is a city in the Mogilev Region of eastern Belarus on the Berezina River. , its population was 209,675. The name Babrujsk (as well as that of the Babruyka River) probably originates from the Belarusian word (; 'beaver'), many of which used to inhabit the Berezina. Athletics At The 2010 Summer Youth Olympics
At the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics, 36 athletics events were contested – 18 for boys and 18 for girls – on 17–19 and 21–23 August 2010. The events took place in Bishan Stadium, Singapore. Athletes born between January 1, 1993, and December 31, 1994, were eligible to compete. Continents selected their athletes through Youth Continental Championships (Continental Youth Olympic Trials). While most events mirrored those at the Summer Olympic Games, some events were distinct from the Games' senior counterpart. A 1000 metres race was scheduled in place of the more traditional 800/1,500 metres races. The steeplechase was held over 2000 m, instead of the seniors' 3000 m distance, and the competition featured a medley relay with legs of 100 m, 200 m, 300 m and 400 m (in the Swedish style).
