Nina Olivette
Nina Olivette (8 August 1910 - 21 February 1971) was an American actress and dancer who was sometimes described as a "dancing comedienne". Early years Born in Manhattan, New York, Olivette was the daughter of Edgar and Kazia Prajinska Lachmann. Her father was a cigar manufacturer in his native Germany; in the United States, he became a vice-president in Charles M. Schwab's steel company. Her mother was a ballet dancer in her native Poland; after coming to the United States, she performed in vaudeville. As a girl, Olivette joined her mother's troupe in ballet performances, but after a leg injury prevented her from maintaining the balance needed to be a ballerina, she turned to combining dancing with comedy. Career Entertainment Olivette worked with Violet Carlson in a vaudeville act billed as the Lachmann Sisters. Harry Guy Stockwell (November 16, 1933 – February 6, 2002) was an American actor who appeared in nearly 30 movies and 250 television series episodes. Life and career Stockwell was born in New York City, the son of singer/dancer Elizabeth "Betty" Margareta Veronica and Harry Stockwell. Guy's father, a baritone singer/actor on Broadway, was famously known for singing the voice of Prince Charming in Disney's animated film ''Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs''. Guy's younger brother was actor Dean Stockwell. Stockwell began his acting career on the stage, working in the Broadway productions ''Innocent Voyage'' with his brother Dean and ''Chicken Every Sunday''. ''Queen High'' is the title of an American pre-Code musical comedy film, produced by Paramount Pictures in 1930. Based upon the 1926 stage musical ''Queen High'' that Buddy DeSylva, Lewis Gensler, and Laurence Schwab had adapted from Edward Peple's 1914 farce ''A Pair of Sixes''. The storyline loosely concerns a rivalry between two businessmen that results in a game of poker. Whoever loses the game becomes the winner's servant for a year. Harry Stockwell
Harry Bayless Stockwell (April 27, 1902 – July 19, 1984) was an American actor and singer. Stockwell made his film debut in the 1935 film ''Here Comes the Band''. However, his claim to fame came in 1937, when he provided the voice of The Prince (seen at the beginning and again in the finale) in Walt Disney's animated classic ''Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs''. Stockwell was also a noted Broadway performer. In 1943, he succeeded Alfred Drake as Curly, the lead role in Broadway's ''Oklahoma!'' He remained in the role until 1948. His final role was in ''The Werewolf of Washington'' in 1973. He was the father of actors Dean Stockwell and Guy Stockwell with first wife Elizabeth Veronica. The Charleston is a dance named after the harbor city of Charleston, South Carolina. The rhythm was popularized in mainstream dance music in the United States by a 1923 tune called "The Charleston" by composer/pianist James P. Johnson, which originated in the Broadway show '' Runnin' Wild'' and became one of the most popular hits of the decade. ''Runnin' Wild'' ran from October 28, 1923, through June 28, 1924.
