Nimo, Nigeria
Nimo Owelle (popularly known by its short form Nimo) is a large town in the south-eastern part of Nigeria. The current traditional ruler of Nimo is Igwe Maxi Ike Oliobi. Location Nimo is located in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State with postal code 421102. Its neighbouring towns are Enugwu Ukwu, Abagana, Neni, Eziowelle, Abatete, Oraukwu, Adazi, Nri and Abacha. History Igbo historical tradition has it that Owelle had four sons: Nimo Owelle was the first son, Abagana was the second son, Abba and Eziowelle were the third and fourth sons respectively. Owelle begot the four sons at his residence in Owe. Nimo Owelle had two wives. The first wife bore Okpaladinwe and Ojideleke. The second wife bore Ezenebo and Okpalabani. Okpaladinwe fathered Etiti Nimo, and Ojideleke begot Egbengwu. Ezenebo had Ifiteani while Okpalabani bore Ifite-enu. Anambra State
Anambra State is a Nigerian state, located in the southeastern region of the country. The state was created on August 27, 1991. Enugwu Ukwu (English: ''on top of a high hill'') is a large town in Anambra State, Nigeria. Enugwu-Ukwu town is geographically situated on hilly terrain; thus it is named after its geographical topography. It is predominantly occupied by the Igbo people ethnic group of Anambra State. Abagana
Abagana is a town in Nigeria. It is the headquarters of Njikoka Local Government Area Anambra State and lies approximately 20 kilometers from Onitsha along the old Enugu-Onitsha Trunk A Road that divides the town into two halves. Abagana town has a landmass of approximately 9.2 square kilometers and is bounded in the north by Abba, Ukpo, and Enugu Agidi towns, in the South by Nimo and Eziowelle towns, in the East by Enugwu Ukwu town and in the west by Umunnachi and Ifitedunu towns. Eziowelle is a town in Idemili North local government area of Anambra State, Nigeria. Eziowelle translates into English as 'a good place'. It is an agrarian community lying about twenty-three kilometers east of Onitsha. The Vatican Cardinal Francis Arinze is a native of Ezoiwelle. Eziowelle is in Idemili North Local Government Area. Ofala Festival
The Ofala Festival is an annual ceremony practiced by Igbo people, particularly the indigenes of Onitsha, Umueri, Umuoji and other neighboring communities such as Aguleri, Nnewi and Ukpo in Dunukofia Local Government Area. Christopher Uchefuna Okeke (; April 30, 1933 – January 5, 2016), also known as Uche Okeke (), was an illustrator, painter, sculptor, and teacher.
