Nils Solstad
Nils Solstad (born 27 July 1963) is a retired Norwegian football defender. Hailing from Mortensnes in Tromsø, Solstad played youth football for IF Fløya and got one senior match before moving to Tromsø IL in 1981. He made his debut in 1982 and became a stalwart until his retirement after the 1993 season. He helped win the 1986 Norwegian Football Cup. In 1997 he was player-manager of Porsanger IL. He later coached Tromsø IL's junior team and IF Skarp Idrettsforeningen Skarp is a Norwegian association football club from Tromsø, which currently plays in the Third Division, the fourth tier of Norwegian football. IF Fløya
Idrettsforeningen Fløya is a Norwegian football club from the city of Tromsø. The club was founded on 22 June 1922 and named after the Fløya mountain which overlooks Tromsø centre. The women's team has got two third-place finishes in Toppserien, in 2004 and 2005, as its best ever achievements. On 16 December 2020, the women's team merged with Tromsø IL under the name of TIL 2020. The new name was taken into effect starting from the 2022 season. The men's team plays in the Norwegian Third Division, the fourth tier in the Norwegian football league system. The famous Norwegian striker Rune Lange started his career in IF Fløya. Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Tromsø Idrettslag is a Norwegian professional football club founded in 1920, based in the city of Tromsø. They play their home games at Alfheim Stadion. Tromsø play in the Eliteserien. Porsanger IL
Porsanger Idrettslag is a Norwegian multi-sports club from Lakselv, Finnmark. It has sections for association football, team handball, track and field, Nordic skiing, floorball and table tennis. The club was founded in 2005 as a merger of the multi-sports club Lakselv IL and the football club Porsanger FK. The latter had been founded in 1995, whereas the former was founded in 1922; the club now counts this as the founding year. The 1986 Norwegian Football Cup was the 81st edition of the Norwegian annual knockout football tournament. The Cup was won by Tromsø after they beat Lillestrøm in the cup final with the score 4–1. This was Tromsø's first Norwegian Cup title.
