Nils Olav Totland
Nils Olav Totland (born 17 December 1935) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He was Minister of Administration from October 1993 to October 1996, in the third cabinet Brundtland. On the local level, he was a member of Skedsmo municipal council from 1967 to 1982 and Fet municipal council from 1999 to 2003. He chaired the local party chapter in Fet from 2001 to 2007. Outside politics, he had a career in the Norwegian State Railways from 1952 to 1971. He then became a full-time trade unionist. He was a member of the secretariat of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions from 1982 to 1990, while chairing Statstjenestemannskartellet. From 1990 to 1993 he was secretary of Arbeidernes Opplysningsforbund. He was a member of the Labour Party central committee from 1987 to 1995. Gro Harlem Brundtland
Gro Brundtland (; born Gro Harlem, 20 April 1939) is a Norwegian politician (Arbeiderpartiet), who served three terms as the 29th prime minister of Norway (1981, 1986–89, and 1990–96) and as the director-general of the World Health Organization from 1998 to 2003. She is also known for having chaired the Brundtland Commission which presented the Brundtland Report on sustainable development. Educated as a physician, Brundtland joined the Labour Party and entered the government in 1974 as Minister of the Environment. She became the first female Prime Minister of Norway on 4 February 1981, but left office on 14 October 1981; she returned as Prime Minister on 9 May 1986 and served until 16 October 1989. LO Stat
LO Stat (LO State) is one of two bargaining structures within the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO). LO Stat is the counterpart in negotiations over state employees' wages and conditions with the government and the employer's organisation, Spekter. It organizes employees of (1) the Norwegian state (Government employees) or (2) of companies that are member bodies of the employers' association Spekter. It was created in 1939 under the name ''Statstjenestemannskartellet'' ('the Cartel of Public Servants'). In 1996 it was renamed to LO Stat. It was one of four cartels until 2004, when LO Industri and LO Service were abolished, leaving only LO Stat and, for municipal employees, LO Kommune. The current chair is Tone Rønoldtangen. Akershus Politicians
Akershus () is a traditional region and current electoral district in Norway, with Oslo as its main city and traditional capital. It is named after the Akershus Fortress in Oslo. From the middle ages to 1919, Akershus was a fief and main county that included most of Eastern Norway, and from the 17th century until 2020, Akershus also had a more narrow meaning as a (sub) county that included most of the Greater Oslo Region. Sylvia Brustad
Sylvia Brustad (born 19 December 1966, in Elverum) is a former Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. Education Brustad graduated from high school in 1983, and attended the media courses at the folk high school in Ringsaker until 1985. She then worked as a journalist, among other publications she worked for ''LO-aktuelt'', the news publication of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions. Political career Parliament Brustad was elected to a county council seat in Hedmark following the local elections of 1987. Den norske Bank or DnB was a Norwegian bank that existed between 1990 and 2003 when it merged with Gjensidige NOR to form DnB NOR (now DNB ASA). The bank's headquarters were in Bergen, Norway.
