Nilay Karaağaç (born 24 October 1985 in Salihli, Manisa Province, Turkey, is a Turkish volleyball player. She is tall and plays as setter. She plays for Galatasaray and wears jersey number 11. She played 124 times for the Turkey women's national volleyball team. Career Özdemir played with Fenerbahçe in the 2012 FIVB Club World Championship held in Doha, Qatar and helped her team to win the bronze medal after defeating Puerto Rico's Lancheras de Cataño 3-0. Salihli
Salihli is a large town and district of Manisa Province in the Aegean region of Turkey. Geography The city of Salihli, the seat of the district, is located on İzmir-Ankara (E 96) highway and the parallel railway connections. The urban zone is situated on the slopes of Bozdağ mountain chain along the southern alluvial plains of the Gediz River. To the north and northeast of the plain extend two other mountain ranges, respectively those of the mounts Dibek (highest altitude 1120 m) and Üşümüş (highest altitude 1085 m). 2011 Women's European Volleyball Championship
The 2011 Women's European Volleyball Championship was the 27th edition of the European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball. It was hosted in Italy and Serbia from 23 September to 2 October 2011. Qualification Format The tournament was played in two different stages. In the first stage, the sixteen participants were divided in four groups of four teams each.
