Mohammad Moniruzzaman
Mohammad Moniruzzaman (15 August 1936 – 3 September 2008) was a Bangladeshi writer, poet, professor, freedom fighter and lyricist. Career Moniruzzaman received his BA in 1958 and his MA in 1959 from University of Dhaka. In 1969, he got his PhD from on ''Hindu-Muslim relationship in modern Bengali poetry''. He joined the University's Department of Bengali as a teaching advisor in 1959 and became a lecturer in 1962. He became a professor in 1975 and chair of the department in 1978. He was also district governor of the Rotary club (1986-1987) as well as a member of the Asiatic Society of Bangladesh. Sabina Yasmin (born 4 September 1953) is a Bangladeshi singer. She is best known as a playback singer in Bengali cinema. She has won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer a record 14 times. She has recorded more than 1,500 songs for films and over 10,000 songs in total. Yasmin was awarded Ekushey Padak in 1984 and Independence Day Award in 1996 by the Government of Bangladesh. Early life Yasmin was born on 4 September 1953. Ferdausi Rahman (; born 28 June 1941) also known as Ferdausi Begum is a Bangladeshi playback singer. She is the daughter of folk singer Abbas Uddin. Gazi Mazharul Anwar (22 February 1943 – 4 September 2022) was a Bangladeshi film director, producer, lyricist, screenwriter and music director. He earned the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Lyricist a record six times for the films ''Tit for Tat (1992)'', ''Ajante (1996)'', ''Churiwala (2001)'', ''Lal Dariya (2002)'', ''Kokhono Megh Kokhono Brishti (2003)'' and '' Meyeti Ekhon Kothay Jabe (2016)''.
