''Nil (Nameless Liberty Underground)'' (commonly known simply as ''Nil'') is the second studio album released by Japanese rock band the Gazette. It was released on February 8, 2006 by PS Company in Japan. It was also the first album by the Gazette to be released in Europe on May 30, 2006, by CLJ Records, and later re-released in Europe and North America on July 17, 2015, by JPU Records. The album reached the 10° position at the Japanese Oricon charts. The Gazette (stylized as the GazettE), formerly known as , is a Japanese visual kei Rock music, rock band, formed in Kanagawa Prefecture, Kanagawa in early 2002.''Shoxx'' Vol 106 June 2007 pg 40-45 The band is currently signed to Sony Music Records. Biography 2002: Conception and early work The band began in 2002 with Ruki (vocals), Reita (bass) and Uruha (lead guitar) in Kanagawa Prefecture. After being involved with other bands in the visual kei movement, the trio decided that the Gazette would be their last band. They recruited Aoi (second guitar) and Yune (drums) from disbanded visual band Artia and formally became the Gazette in January 2002. The band name is an intentional misspelling of . Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. Free-Will
is a Japanese independent record label founded in 1986 by Color vocalist Hiroshi "Dynamite Tommy" Tomioka, with branches predominantly in Japan and the United States, as well as previously in Europe. JPU Records is a British record label formed in 2012, which specializes in handling international releases by Japanese artists.
