Nikos Vamvakoulas
Nikos Vamvakoulas ( el, Νίκος Βαμβακούλας; born 31 January 1957) is a Greek retired football defender. Career Born in Lavrio, Vamvakoulas played club football for Olympiacos, Panathinaikos, Ionikos, OFI Crete and PAS Giannina. He won four Alpha Ethniki and one Greek Football Cup titles with Olympiacos before he won two more Alpha Ethniki and three more Greek Football Cup titles with Panathinaikos. Vamvakoulas made 30 appearances for the Greece national football team from 1981 to 1987. Also he has written the hymn of Olympiacos. Lavrio
Laurium or Lavrio ( ell, Λαύριο; grc, Λαύρειον (later ); before early 11th century BC: Θορικός ''Thorikos''; from Middle Ages until 1908: Εργαστήρια ''Ergastiria'') is a town in southeastern part of Attica, Greece. It is part of Athens metropolitan area and the seat of the municipality of Lavreotiki. Laurium was famous in Classical antiquity for its silver mines, which was one of the chief sources of revenue of the Athenian state. The metallic silver was mainly used for coinage. The Archaeological Museum of Lavrion shows much of the story of these mines. It is located about 60 km SE of Athens city center, SE of Keratea and N of Cape Sounio. Laurium is situated on a bay overlooking the island of Makronisos (ancient times: Helena) in the east. The port is in the middle and gridded streets cover the residential area of Lavrio. The Greek Football Cup ( el, Κύπελλο Ελλάδος Ποδοσφαίρου), commonly known as the Greek Cup or Kypello Elladas is a Greek football competition, run by the Hellenic Football Federation. The Greek Cup is the second most important domestic men's football event, after the championship of Super League. The organizing authority of the institution is the Hellenic Football Federation ( EPO). Since its inception in 1931 it has been held 80 times, in which cup winner emerged 79.
