Nikola Jovanović ( sr-Cyrl, Никола Јовановић; born 12 June 1992) is a Serbian football defender. Club career Born in Priština, Jovanović started his career with Javor Ivanjica in the 2010–11 season. Later, he spent mostly time with Rudar Kostolac and Železničar Lajkovac in the Serbian League West, where he appeared as a loaned player until the end of 2014–15 season. In summer 2015, Jovanović joined the Serbian First League side Inđija, but after a half-season he moved to Loznica. Next the club relegated from the competition, Jovanović signed with Dinamo Vranje in summer as a single player. After a season with Dinamo, Jovanović made a deal with the Serbian SuperLiga club OFK Bačka OFK Bačka (Serbian Cyrillic: ОФК Бачка) is a football club based in Bačka Palanka, Serbia, that competes in the Serbian League Vojvodina. Serbian First League
The Serbian First League (), referred to as the Mozzart Bet First League for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier in professional Serbia's football league. The league was formed in 2005, following a reshuffle of the second tier Serbo-Montenegrin divisions. It is operated by the Football Association of Serbia. Format The league is usually formed by 16 clubs which play all against one another twice, once at home, once away. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the Football Association of Serbia completed a restructure of the league system, and in season 2020/2021 that meant 18 clubs would be competing in the Serbian First League, the number of clubs will go back to the usual 16 following the conclusion of the 2020-2021 season.
