Niklas Karlsson
Niklas Jörgen Karlsson (born 1974) is a Sweden, Swedish politician and member of the Riksdag, the national legislature. A member of the Swedish Social Democratic Party, Social Democratic Party, he has represented Skåne County West (Riksdag constituency), Skåne County West since September 2014. Karlsson is the son of politician Anders Karlsson (politician), Anders Karlsson. He was educated in Landskrona and Lund University. He was a sergeant in the Wendes Artillery Regiment. He has been a member of the Municipal council (Sweden), municipal council in Landskrona Municipality since 1994. The Riksdag (, ; also sv, riksdagen or ''Sveriges riksdag'' ) is the legislature and the supreme decision-making body of Sweden. Since 1971, the Riksdag has been a unicameral legislature with 349 members (), elected proportionally and serving, since 1994, fixed four-year terms. P4 (''pe fyra'') is a national radio channel produced by the Swedish public broadcaster Sveriges Radio. P4 was started in 1987 as a network of regional stations, but national programming was added in 1993 when P3 was relaunched as a specialist youth channel and P4 took over a large part of P3's former programming intended for a more adult audience. Landskrona Municipality (''Landskrona kommun'') is a municipality in Scania County in Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Landskrona. The island of Ven was added to the ''City of Landskrona'' in 1959. The amalgamations leading to the present municipality took place in 1967, 1969 and 1974. Since 1971 it is a municipality of unitary type, like all other municipalities of Sweden. The municipality, however, prefers to style itself ''Landskrona stad'' (''City of Landskrona''). Landskrona
Landskrona (old da, Landskrone) is a town in Scania, Sweden. Located on the shores of the Öresund, it occupies a natural port, which has lent the town at first military and subsequent commercial significance. Ferries operate from Landskrona to the island of Ven, and for many years there was also a connection to Copenhagen. Landskrona is part of the Øresund region. It is the seat of Landskrona Municipality. Landskrona is also the name of a district in Landskrona Municipality which is slightly smaller than the urban area.
